Nursery Instructions

(Nursery is attended during 11:00 Service on Sundays from September through May; attended during the one Sunday service in the summer.)

Arrive at the church 20 minutes prior to the service.
Sign your name in the nursery book (blue book) and the date.
As children arrive, have parents sign their names in the book. Make sure to only sign children out to the parent listed in the book.
Sometimes children start out in church but come to the nursery later. If no children are in the nursery when the service begins, please stay in case some come later.
There should always be two attendants in the nursery - one must be an adult and the other of babysitting age. If the second attendant does not arrive, wait as an usher will check the nursery and find another attendant from the congregation.
Please keep children in the nursery during the service, with one attendant visiting the restroom with a child as needed, the other attendant staying behind with the rest of the children.
Please note if there are any items in the nursery that might present a danger to young children. Please put these items up and leave a note in the blue book so that these items can be removed.
After the children have been picked up, please put all toys and materials back on the shelves. Cleaning products are in the cabinet to use on the tables if needed.
